Paul Eugene Points

Paul Eugene Points, age 67, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away on July 9, 2026. Born on January 14, 1959, in Orange, California, Paul was the son of Paul Edward Points and Geraldine Marie (Mathews) Points.

Paul spent much of his working life in the oilfield industry, where he worked hard to provide for his family. He approached life with the same grit and perseverance that defined his career.

A true outdoorsman, Paul loved fishing and being out in nature. He enjoyed working on vehicles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Those who knew him will fondly remember him as a stubborn mule and a proud papa who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Geraldine Points; his wife, Samantha Shockey; his son, Duane Eugene Points; and his brothers, Edward Points and Stanley Points.

He is survived by his three daughters, Stormy Elmore, Summer “Courtney” Sirratt, and Lori Tejada; his eight grandchildren, Rhyatt, Hagen, Jordon, Triston, Isabella, Bryan, Andrea, and Constantine; and his great-granddaughter, Laylah. Paul also leaves behind his siblings, Willa Mae Shelby, Manuel Points, Margie Shores, and Kelli Beaver; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.

Service details will be announced at a later date; cremation is under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
