Kiem Dang, 86, of Fort Smith passed Thursday, July 2, 2026. She was the co-founder and chef of Taipei Chinese Restaurant. She was a member of the Vietnamese United Methodist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and known for her kindness and love of gardening.

She was the widow of Vinh Hua and is survived by four daughters, Thanh-Van/Tiet Do, My-Linh/Cuong Phan, My-Dung/Linh Phuong and My-Trang/Thong Nguyen; four sons, Huy-Tuan/Tuong-Vi Hua, Huy-Khanh/My-Linh Hua, Huy-Liem/Uyen-Phuong Hua and Huy-Hoang/Thu-Thuy Hua; twenty-four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Hoai-An Phuong, Gia-Thuan Phan, The-Phi Hua, Kim-Dien Hua, Hoang-Tin Hua and Hoang-Minh Nguyen.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Vietnamese United Methodist Church, at 800 Albert Pike Avenue, Fort Smith.
