Etta Jean Penson, 92, of Barling, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was born December 10, 1933 in Alma to the late Doug and Alma (Tipton) Willmon. She had worked in jewelry sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Penson; a son, Jeffery Penson; and a brother, J. D. Willmon.
She is survived by a daughter, Penny Spaulding and husband Gary of Fort Smith; two granddaughters, Carissa Jackson of Alma and Amber Gregory of California; and three great-granddaughters.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. No services are scheduled at this time.
