Karen Diane Lewis

Karen Diane Lewis of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on December 25, 1948, in Kearns, Utah, to the late Donald Truman Angel and Norma Jean (Fowler) Angel. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Douglas Eugene Rasmussen and David Rasmussen.

Karen was a retired cashier for Walmart in Fort Smith and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by a son, John Lane of Fort Smith; a sister, Debra Costley of Norfork, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry Rasmussen and Richard Rasmussen, both of Alexander, Arkansas; a grandson, Darin Rosin and wife Hannah of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and one great-granddaughter, Evalaine Rosin.
