Community Clinic adds services in Siloam Springs
Springdale-based health system Community Clinic recently expanded its women’s health services and rebranded its clinic at 1101 S. Progress Ave. in Siloam Springs.
Community Clinic Pediatrics & Women’s Health, formerly known as Sager Creek Pediatrics & Family Care, has expanded to provide women’s health services, including annual checkups, birth control and family planning, menopause and hormone support, and pregnancy care. The company declined to provide an investment amount for the expansion.
“We’ve always believed we’re not just in the community — we’re part of it,” said Community Clinic CEO Judd Semingson. “Responding to real needs is central to who we are, and we’re proud to see the real impact this expansion is having for women and families in Siloam Springs.”
The 11,500-square-foot clinic has 21 staff, including physicians, certified nurse-midwives, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and a sports medicine and rehabilitation provider. Services include women’s health, prenatal, midwifery care, primary and urgent care, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and clinical services.
Last year, Community Clinic launched a hospital-based midwifery program in partnership with Willow Creek Women’s Hospital and Northwest Health. The program celebrated the delivery of its first hospital-based newborn in December.
“For patients, especially later in pregnancy, frequent travel for appointments can become a real burden,” said Emily Goucher, director of Women’s Health at Community Clinic. “This model allows us to provide prenatal and postpartum care locally, while coordinating safe deliveries in a hospital setting.”
Community Clinic serves more than 75,000 patients at more than 30 locations across Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma.
