Neta-Jean Baldwin of Alma, Arkansas, passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 86. Neta-Jean was born on Mother’s Day, May 14, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Wayne and Grace Garrett. Her birth and early life in Kansas City were marked by her parents’ devotion to their family. Neta-Jean later moved to Arkansas, where she raised her family and became an active member of her community. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, with visitation on May 8, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local charity of your choice.
