CARTI revealed Tuesday (March 31) the expansion of its comprehensive cancer center in Russellville, a project made possible with philanthropic support from the River Valley.

Patients now have access to breast surgical consultations, urology services, additional lab space, as well as medical oncology, radiation oncology, advanced imaging, including 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, and cancer genetics and risk management at the facility.

“Our continued investments in CARTI Cancer Center Russellville reflect our dedication to meeting patients where they are in their local communities,” said Adam Head, president and CEO. “We are grateful to our generous supporters across the River Valley who share our commitment to making trusted cancer care accessible.”

Patient care at CARTI Cancer Center Russellville is provided by fellowship-trained medical oncologists Andrew Briggler, M.D. and Thomas Sneed, M.D.; fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist Eric Burdge, M.D., Ph.D., FACS; and nurse practitioners Ashley McCoy, APRN and Christie Dumboski, APRN.

Located at 209 South Portland Avenue, CARTI Cancer Center Russellville serves patients and their families Monday-Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
