Judy Ann Bowles, 79, of Winslow, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 15, 1945, in Uniontown, Arkansas, Judy was the daughter of the late George and Dicey (Bryant) Brasuell. She was a woman of strong faith and a devoted member of the Baptist church. Judy worked for many years as a custodian for the Mountainburg School District, where she took pride in her work and cared deeply for the students and staff. She was also a loving homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family.
Judy’s life was rooted in love, generosity, and quiet strength. She adored her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Whether cooking a favorite meal, sharing a story, or offering a listening ear, Judy’s presence made those around her feel loved and valued.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Melvin Brasuell and William Brasuell; and her sisters, Geneva Hopkins and Lou Small.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Eulas Bowles of the home; two sons, Josh Bowles and wife Melissa of Alma, Arkansas, and Justin Bowles of Alma, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Robbie Bowles, Clayton Bowles, and Houston Bowles; her brother, Johnny Brasuell; and sisters, Shirley Shelly, Pachilla Thompson, and Janie Howard.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Bidville Cemetery in Bidville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Bowles, Houston Bowles, Clayton Bowles, Michael Bowles, Greg Drummond and Jason Provence.
Judy’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
