The Jones Center in Springdale has launched its first smartphone app. The app was developed with support from Cox Mobile and links people with Jones Center programs and facilities. The free app is available for Apple and Android devices.

“This app represents a significant step forward in our technology and communication strategy,” said Joe Lloyd, president and CEO of the Jones Center. “By meeting people where they are – on their mobile devices – we’re making it easier than ever to engage with all we have to offer.”

Following are the app’s five key features.
• Account access: Users can log into their account, view details and make updates to household information.
• Digital membership card: Members can use their phones to scan into facilities.
• Program registration: Browse and register for classes, workshops and events.
• Facility reservations: Book spaces for birthday parties, community gatherings and meetings.
• Real-time updates: Receive notifications about upcoming events, schedule changes and announcements.

“The development of the app aligns perfectly with Cox Mobile’s commitment to create meaningful moments of human connection through technology,” said Cox Arkansas Market Vice President Tina Gabbard. “Bringing people together, this time through technology supported by Cox Mobile, is a shared mission and vision between Cox Communications and the Jones Center in a partnership that goes back decades. We are grateful we could support.”
