Professional background: Reynolds is the third woman named as a managing member of Rose Law Firm in its 205-year history. In her practice, she represents companies and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes, complex civil litigation.
What was your dream job as a kid, and why? I have always wanted to be a lawyer. When I was younger, I always found myself interested in how our justice system works.
Who was a big mentor to you in the early part of your career? Two of my most influential mentors were women — strong, kind and unapologetically outspoken. They held themselves and their work to the highest standards and led by example. Their unwavering support shaped how I view mentorship and why I value it so deeply today. In an organization like ours, real change happens when those in positions of influence are intentional about lifting others up. It doesn’t happen by accident — it takes effort and awareness. Because of my mentors, I make it a priority to be that kind of leader for others.
What advice can you offer to women who want a career in your industry? Learn the art of saying “no.” Women often find themselves as the helpers, but honoring your own boundaries is essential. Saying “no” when it matters is a powerful way to protect your time, energy and alignment with the people, places and pursuits that truly support your goals and your path.
You stay busy professionally. How do you take care of yourself and maintain good mental health? I make time to be outside regularly. Sunshine and trees are a great reset for me.
What are some of the leadership skills that helped you move up in your organization? Being curious. When you are curious, you are open to new solutions and seeing issues from different perspectives.
What is the best leadership advice you have ever received? “Clear is kind.” That means setting clear expectations from the outset. You can’t expect people to read your mind and then be frustrated when they inevitably don’t. The kindest — and most effective — form of leadership is being direct from the beginning. It ensures that everyone understands what’s expected of them, and it opens the door for mutual understanding about what you can expect in return.
I wish I knew how to … what? Speak multiple languages.
First thing you do at the office each morning? Open a Bloom energy drink.
What do you do to relax when not working? Hanging out with my husband and children in our backyard. It is my happy place.
What’s the next big personal or career challenge you plan to take on? I plan to continue to expand our Northwest Arkansas office, with an appreciation for Rose Law Firm’s rich history and strong culture remaining at the heart of everything we do. My goal is to help carry that legacy forward while contributing to its vibrant and thriving future.
