Glenda Marie Martin

Glenda M. Martin, 65, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was born April 28, 1960 in Van Buren to the late Walter and Connie (Cottrell) Burkett. She was a homemaker and volunteered at local nursing homes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel and Linda; and four brothers, Leon, Leonard, Eugene, and Gerald.

She is survived by a daughter, Selena Tolbert and husband Darren of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Landi Hood of Greenwood, Terri McAllister (Kyle) of Fort Smith, and Brandon Tolbert of Greenwood; four great-grandchildren, Ziva Sumner, Sawyer Tolbert, Abigail Sumner, and Bailey McAllister; and best friend, Sean Budde of Fort Smith.

Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2025 at Gill Cemetery Pavilion in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
