Sharon Lynn Stephens

Sharon Lynn Stephens, 72, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born June 13, 1952 in Fort Smith to Robert and Louise (Alverson) Ray. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, James Brent Stephens and Jonathan Lee Stephens; one brother, Danny Ray; two sisters, Evelyn Gales and Sherry Cates; three grandchildren, Bailey, Kaitlyn and Breanna and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Stephens; a daughter, Diana Renee Carter; one grandson, Matthew Carter; three brothers, Rodney Ray, David Ray and Bobby Ray and one sister, Janet Jo Stevens.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 21 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Clarks Chapel Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday before the service.
