James Brown

James Brown, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, in Alma, Arkansas. He was born on March 15, 1947, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. James was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary Brown; two children, Sarah and Michael; and four grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Lily, and Noah. James was known for his love of fishing and spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2025, at 2 PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Alma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
