Haas Hall in Fort Smith ranks in top 5% of schools

Charter school Haas Hall Academy – Fort Smith, in its first year of operations, was ranked in the top 5% of public schools in Arkansas, along with 49 other schools statewide, according to a news release. The number includes the academy’s four Northwest Arkansas campuses.
The Arkansas School Recognition Program provides financial awards to the top 10% of public schools with high student performance on state-required assessments in grades three through 10. The Arkansas Department of Education’s Division of Elementary and Secondary Education will award $6.99 million to 174 schools through the program. The awards were based on student assessment results from the 2023-2024 school year.
According to the release, no other high schools in the Fort Smith metro area were recognized in the top 5% of reward schools for 2024.
Haas Hall Academy – Fort Smith opened in fall 2023 and is on the fourth floor of the multipurpose Arkansas Colleges of Health Education Research Institute, Health and Wellness Center at 1000 Fianna Way. The school serves Arkansas residents in grades seven through 12.
Haas Hall Academy’s flagship campus is in Fayetteville. It also has locations in Bentonville, Rogers, and Springdale. It was founded in 2004 in Farmington before relocating to Fayetteville.
