Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers and Springdale cumulatively reported sales tax revenue of $8.378 million in the April report, down 0.19% from the same reporting period in 2023.

Through the April report, the four cities cumulative revenue is $36.691 million, up 2.06% from a year ago. The cumulative revenue has decreased sequentially each month of this calendar year and each city has seen revenue ups and downs through the four months of reports in 2024.

Fayetteville and Springdale reversed the negative results from the prior month to grow revenue by 4.32% and 3.67% respectively, for the year-over-year period. Fayetteville reported revenue of $2.517 million, the best results for the four months of reports in 2024.
