FNBC President Chad Hudson announced Thursday (April 25) that David Norris has been hired as senior vice president, Mortgage Lending. In this new role, Norris will be responsible for enhancing FNBC’s mortgage products and continuing to build its mortgage lending presence.

He will report to Hudson and be based in FNBC’s Jonesboro office.

“We are excited to welcome David to FNBC as our new mortgage leader,” said Hudson. “David’s extensive experience in mortgage lending and leadership, coupled with his fresh perspectives, will be invaluable in this role. We’re also grateful to Debbie Howard, Vice President, Mortgage & Consumer Lender, for her outstanding work in managing the department over the past few years and for her ongoing dedication to FNBC and its customers.”

Norris joins FNBC with more than a decade of mortgage lending experience in Central and Northeast Arkansas, most recently working as an area production manager for another financial institution in the Jonesboro market. He is also an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP), a specialist designation recognizing his pursuit of educational excellence, high ethical standards, and commitment to professionalism in the real estate finance industry.

“I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue my career leading the Mortgage Division at FNBC,” said Norris. “I’m eager to bring new ideas to the table to enhance our market presence, all while delivering exceptional service and tailored lending solutions to our clients. I look forward to working with our excellent team of mortgage lenders to foster a culture of collaboration and growth within our team.”

Norris earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science with a minor in journalism and public relations from Arkansas Tech University. He provides financial education seminars for the Crowley’s Ridge Development Council and is a member of the Jonesboro Young Professionals Network.
