First Horizon Foundation, the private charitable foundation of Memphis, Tenn.-based bank holding company First Horizon Corp., will distribute $1.6 million to nonprofit organizations within the company’s footprint.

The Grants for Good campaign is in honor of First Horizon Corp.’s 160th anniversary. The bank will award 160 grants of $10,000 each to nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening the communities they serve.

“We are proud to serve our community and share First Horizon Foundation Grants for Good, awarding $10,000 to 160 nonprofits advancing community development,” said Jamey Vaught, the bank’s Northwest Arkansas market president.

Nonprofits can apply for the Grants for Good award at this link, and only one application per organization is permitted. Photos are encouraged with submissions.

Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges composed of First Horizon employees. Applications will be accepted through April 30 and award recipients will be announced in June.

Publicly traded First Horizon Corp. entered the Arkansas market in 2020 through the acquisition of Louisiana-based IberiaBank Corp. Today, First Horizon operates in 12 states and has 418 banking centers, including 12 in Arkansas.

Vaught oversees Northwest Arkansas banking centers in Fayetteville and Bentonville.

According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., First Horizon had $81.7 billion in assets as of Dec. 31, 2023.
