Bentonville-based outdoor apparel company LIVSN Designs announced Monday (June 5) the success of their latest design, the Century Jacket, on Kickstarter.

According to a company news release, the crowdfunding campaign raised $456,355 during the 30-day period that ended on May 25. It is the second-most successful crowdfunding in the state of Arkansas. LIVSN’s previous Kickstarter campaign in 2021 achieved Arkansas’ largest single crowdfunding raise. The company raised $514,624 that year when it launched its EcoTrek Trail pants.

“We are honored and humbled by the outpouring of support for the Century Jacket,” Andrew Gibbs-Dabney, LIVSN Designs founder and CEO, said in the news release. “We owe so much to the Kickstarter community and the fans who support us, time and again, and crowdfunding helps us confirm market demand while also giving us the resources to make new products like the Century Jacket a reality.”

The Century Jacket will be available for pre-order on livsndesigns.com for those who missed the campaign. The jacket is scheduled to arrive starting in December 2023.

According to the news release, the Century Jacket combines cut, comfort, performance and materials. The exterior shell is made from organic Ventile, a cotton weave introduced during World War II. The jacket’s insulation is lightweight HD Wool, offering breathability and moisture management.

The liner is 100% pure silk, providing comfort and antimicrobial properties. The Century Jacket will be available in Olive Green and Black Navy, in sizes S-XXL.
