Charles Gaba named head of Memphis-Little Rock market for Merrill Lynch

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, a division of Bank of America, has named Charles Gaba as market executive for the Memphis-Little Rock Market, overseeing 65 financial advisors.

Gaba started his financial services career in 1997 and has been with Merrill Lynch for a combined 17 years. Throughout his career, Gaba has held various roles, and he is a member of several Bank of America employee networks, including HOLA, LEAD for Women and IGEN.

Gaba received his bachelor’s degree in English and psychology from Clemson University and earned an MBA from American University.

Bank of America also announced two promotions in Arkansas.

Brad McBride is now vice president and senior relationship manager of global commercial banking at Bank of America in Arkansas. He will serve companies with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion, providing various financial solutions, including treasury, credit, investment banking, risk management, international and wealth management.

McBride began his banking career in credit at Bank of America in Little Rock in 2011. He worked with the bank in Amarillo, Texas, and St. Louis, Mo., before returning to Little Rock in 2016.

Phillip Hutchins is now vice president and relationship manager for business banking at Bank of America in Arkansas. Hutchins joined Bank of America in 2014 as a financial center manager and most recently served as a small business banker.

He will serve clients with annual revenues of $5 million to $50 million, providing various financial services to help them grow.
