Governor reappoints Thomas to PSC, adds Rankin to Education panel

Gov. Asa Hutchinson has reappointed Ted Thomas, chairman of the Arkansas Public Service Commission, to another term on PSC. He added former Miss Arkansas and Gov. Huckabee staff member, Dr. Beth Anne Rankin, to the State Board of Education.

He also announced the following appointments on Wednesday (May 19): 

Ted Thomas, Conway, to the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2027. Reappointment.

Dr. Beth Anne Rankin, Magnolia, to the State Board of Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2022. Replaces Brett Williamson.

Brett Morgan, Little Rock, to the Parole Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2028. Replaces Abraham Carpenter.

Bill Clary, Conway, to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University. Appointment expires January 14, 2026. Replaces Tom Kennedy.
