Casey’s General Stores in Arkansas and the midwest will begin offering curbside pickup for more than 100 products sold inside stores including pizza-made-to-order. Those who want to activate the service must download the Casey’s mobile app or visit the company website.

“We see more and more guests seeking curbside pickup options to save time and feel safe. Casey’s has developed our curbside offering as a fully-integrated option inside our app, enabling us to deliver a best-in-class experience for our guests,” said Art Sebastian, vice president, digital experience at Casey’s.

Casey’s said it has tested curbside pickup at stores in Kansas City and Des Moines and expanded the test to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in July and August. During the pilot, Casey’s learned that customers found it convenient to place their pizza and grocery order, and then arrive and have it placed in the vehicle’s trunk by a Casey’s employee. Many customers shared the extra benefit of being able to fuel up during the same trip, according to Casey’s.

The service is now available at more than 2,000 stores including all in Arkansas. Casey’s said curbside pickup is free and customers can be assured the company will continue to practice enhanced safety precautions.

Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s is the fourth largest convenience store and its the fifth largest pizza chain in the U.S. The company operates more than 2,200 stores in 16 states.
