Tyson Foods’ chief accounting officer exits the company

Tyson Foods said chief accounting officer Steve Gibbs will be leaving the company effective Friday (Feb. 21). Gibbs joined Tyson Foods in December 2018. He has accepted employment with an undisclosed firm.
Gibbs’ exit, as an officer and senior vice president, triggered a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday. The company said the resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the company regarding its operations, policies or practices.
Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Gibbs held a similar role at Keurig Green Mountain Inc. in the Boston metro area. He was at Keurig for almost six years.
Tyson Foods has not yet said who will replace Gibbs in this role.
