Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Wednesday (Aug. 7) announced the following appointments:

  • Clay Waliski, Carlisle, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Mary Ringgold.
  • Stephanie Nickols, Mount Ida, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Robbie Thomas-Knight.
  • Dr. Dwayne Daniels, El Dorado, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Lawrence Braden.
  • Dr. Melissa Faulkenberry, Little Rock, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Dr. Greg Ungerank.
  • Dr. Anthony Turchi, Fayetteville, to the Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2024. Reappointment.
  • John Dyess, Yellville, as a Special County Judge in the County Court of Marion County, Arkansas. Marion County Court Case No. 2019-001. Replaces Marion County Judge John Massey, who has disqualified himself from the case.
  • Sydney Westbrook, Texarkana, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Linda Tabor.
