Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the following appointments:

  • Chad Pekron, Bryant, to the State Board of Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2026. Replaces Walker Barth.
  • Anthony Doss, Springdale, to the Board of Directors of Northwest Technical Institute. Appointment expires June 30, 2024. Replaces Marianne Neighbors.
  • Dr. Rhonda Mattox, Roland, to the Mosaic Templars of America Center for African-American Culture and Business Enterprise Advisory Board. Appointment expires October 31, 2021. Replaces Jay Hartman.
  • Dr. Rosilee Russell, Fort Smith, to the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Appointment expires July 20, 2021. Reappointment.
  • Jerri Henley, Batesville, to the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Appointment expires July 20, 2021. Replaces Sabitha Govindarajan.
  • Caleb Plyler, Hope, to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2022. Reappointment.
  • Robert Campbell, Witts Springs, to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2022. Reappointment.

  • John Dyess, Yellville, as a Special County Judge in the County Court of Marion County, Arkansas. Marion County Court Case Number: 2019-001. Replaces Marion County Judge John Massey, who has recused himself from the case.
