Attorney Robert Coleman joins SettlePou to open Arkansas office in Little Rock

Dallas-based law firm SettlePou has opened an Arkansas office in Little Rock with the hiring of attorney Robert Coleman.

Coleman, who is also licensed in Tennessee, had previously been in private practice in Little Rock for nearly 23 years and has almost 37 years of experience in all types of litigation. According to a news release, Coleman will represent clients in industries such as consumer finance, banking, mortgage servicing, title, and construction. He is involved in several practice areas, including title curative matters, closings, default matters, bankruptcy matters, condemnation, loan servicing and regulatory compliance.

SettlePou opened in 1978 and focuses on commercial lending and real estate transactions. The company has 14 practice areas with more than 35 lawyers who are licensed in nine states. The company takes its name from company founders John Settle and Robert Pou.

Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree from Hendrix College in 1988 and law degree from the University of Arkansas in 1991.
