The consulting firm that handled Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s re-election bid has a new partner.
Gilmore Strategy Group, a full-service political consulting and lobbying firm based in Little Rock, announced the hiring of Rett Hatcher as a partner in the firm.
Hatcher has worked on Hutchinson’s staff, the Secretary of State’s office, and most recently at the Arkansas Teachers Retirement System. During his tenure on the governor’s staff, he worked on a wide array of legislative and budget issues.
Hatcher is a licensed attorney and CPA in the state of Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith and his Juris Doctor from the William H Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.
As an appointee of Governor Asa Hutchinson to the State and Public School Life and Health Insurance Board, he worked to maintain an actuarially sound system while managing state OPEB liability. He is a founding board member of the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses.
“I’m delighted today to announce Rett Hatcher as a partner in our firm,” said Jon Gilmore, president. “Rett and I worked together within the office of Governor Asa Hutchinson where Rett managed the Governor’s legislative office and agency liaison staff. Rett’s experience in state government, legislative affairs and political campaigns is unparalleled and his background as a CPA and attorney will bring a new dynamic to our growing client roster.”
“I am thankful for the opportunity to partner with Jon Gilmore. Jon is the consummate professional. His ability to analyze complex problems and develop unique solutions to those problems is well respected in Little Rock. This is evidenced by his diverse and growing list of clients.
