Washington Regional Medical Center announced a partnership with Streamline Health Solutions to help manage its operations via a new cloud-based automated pre-bill coding analysis technology system dubbed Streamline Health eValuator.

The system aims to help the hospital improve its overall financial performance by increasing billing accuracy and improving coding to reduce lost revenue and decreasing payment denials. The system’s goals are to enable Washington Regional to turn unpredictable revenue cycles into sustainable revenue streams.

“We were looking for an innovative new way to help us improve our revenue integrity and came across Streamline Health’s eValuator,” said Ashley Moser, director of revenue integrity at Washington Regional Medical Center. “Our goal in deploying eValuator is to improve our coding accuracy by analyzing every patient record before we bill them. An analysis of some of our previously billed records clearly showed opportunities we could improve upon, both in capturing more revenue for the care we had provided, and in helping us mitigate revenue risk.”

Atlanta-based Streamline Health Solutions said the company aims to produce actionable insights that will support revenue optimization for the Fayetteville-based hospital.

“We share a common calling and commitment to advance the quality of life and the quality of healthcare – for society, our clients, the communities they serve, and the individual patient, Streamline Health CEO David Sides, noted in the release.
