Citizens Bank promotes Janet Moore to executive vice president, COO

Janet Moore has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of Batesville-chartered The Citizens Bank. Moore joined the bank in 2014 as senior vice president of operations.

“Janet provides extensive experience in all aspects of bank operations including call center services, treasury management and bank acquisition integration,” Citizens Bank CEO Phil Baldwin said in a statement. “During her banking career, Ms. Moore has served as an executive officer at several of the largest banks in Arkansas, and adds a deep wealth of experience to Citizens Bank.”

Moore has more than 30 years of banking experience in Arkansas. She was previously executive vice president of treasury management with Iberiabank in Little Rock.

Moore is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking.

Citizens Bank had 184 employees and assets of $763.2 million as of Sept. 30, according to the FDIC. The bank has 18 offices in 12 cities across Arkansas — Arkadelphia, Batesville, Cave City, Crossett, Hot Springs, Imboden, Monticello, Mountain View, Pleasant Plains, Portland, Rogers and Fayetteville.
