Sherwood Urgent Care opened a second location at 1065 Skyline Drive in Conway. The location, which is adjacent to Starbucks, opened Monday (Dec. 18.) Its other location on Dave Ward Drive is across from Acxiom.

Sherwood Urgent Care has eight locations in Arkansas and treats pain and non-life threatening conditions. Patients can walk in to receive treatment for the following conditions: Asthma and allergies; flu, colds and viruses; and sprains, strains and broken bones. Patients also can receive immunizations and vaccinations; school, sports and wellness physicals; and occupational health services.

The two Conway locations are open daily: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. Most insurance plans are accepted, including TRICARE, Medicare and Medicaid. Sherwood Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operations of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast, according to a news release.

Nurse practitioners Lisa Robbins-Spann and Jama Davis will be the primary providers at the new location. Robbins-Spann joined the center after working at Baptist Health Urgent Care in Bryant. Davis transferred to the new location from Sherwood Urgent Care’s other location on Dave Ward Drive.

“Our goal is to meet the growing patient needs for quality care delivered in a convenient location at an affordable price,” said Mike Dupuis, division vice president for Urgent Team. “Conway and Faulkner County is rapidly growing — opening a second center will help meet the primary, urgent care and occupational health needs of this community with convenient locations on both sides of town.”
