i’Mindful studios now offers businesses 30-minute and hour-long meditation classes for their employees through i’Mindful @ Work.

“Mindfulness has become super mainstream, so it has become a very acceptable method to reduce stress and increase productivity in the workplace,” Amargós said. “Our sessions for the workplace are modeled after what we have seen done in other cities.

“We have corporate packages where we can go into the company, associates can come to our studio, and we can also set up a mindfulness space within the company,” she added.

Several local businesses, including Whole Foods Market in Fayetteville, and Acorn Influence in Bentonville, have tried the service.

“I booked an i’Mindful session for my staff at Acorn Influence because I believe in the science behind meditation and mindfulness,” said Stephanie McCratic, founder and chief executive officer at Acorn.

“More importantly, though, I booked it because one of our values is meaningful relationships, which means when everyone feels valued, magic happens.

“To that effect, we do something meaningful as a team about once a month. I have always respected and enjoyed Jay, so when she told me about i’Mindful it seemed like the perfect experience for my staff,” McCratic said.

The classes focus on mindfulness-based stress reduction, are secular and are taught by Amargós, who has more than 400 hours of certification courses and 14 years of meditation practice, according to the press release.

i’Mindful studio opened at 2907 Joyce Blvd., Suite 5, in Fayetteville.
