Black Hills Energy Accounts Unavailable During Conversion

From June 30 to July 4, Black Hills Energy — formerly SourceGas — plans to convert more than 163,000 Arkansas customers from its previous customer service management system to a new customer service platform.

During that time, Black Hills Energy customers in Arkansas will not be able to make payments or changes to their account information.

Customer care centers will be fully staffed to help customers during regular business hours with limited service options at 800-563-0012. Customers can also use that number if they’re experiencing a natural gas energy emergency.

Starting July 5, www.sourcegasarkansas.com will redirect customers to www.blackhillsenergy.com. At that time, Arkansas customers will again have access to their online accounts to make payments and changes. Those customers will need to log in to www.blackhillsenergy.com with their current SourceGas login and password.

For security purposes, they will then be prompted to update their password.

Black Hills Energy, headquartered in South Dakota, serves 1.2 million customers in eight states: Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.
