Lindsey Appears Poised After Bentonville Purchase

Here’s an item for real estate watchers to keep an eye on. Fayetteville-based developer Lindsey Management Co. appears poised to develop another apartment community in Bentonville.
According to county real estate records, a Lindsey affiliate company named Walton Crossing Apartments LP paid $2.65 million for 25.25 acres, east of Walton Boulevard. The purchase price equals $2.40 per SF.
The two-parcel property is north of Southeast 28th Street, across from Phillips Park, and divided by Southeast C Street — 15.8 acres to the east and 9.4 to the west.
Ronald Blackwell of Hot Springs was the seller.
A Bentonville city planner said there haven’t been any development plans submitted regarding the property.
Lindsey opened the 487-unit The Trails at Bentonville on Been Road south of Arkansas Highway 102 in 2015.
