Van Buren Firm Hawkins-Weir Opens Office in Fayetteville

Van Buren-based Hawkins-Weir Engineers Inc., has opened an office in Fayetteville at 438 E. Millsap Road.

Brett D. Peters, president and CEO of the civil and environmental engineering consulting firm, said the primary reason for opening an office in Northwest Arkansas is to expand the firm’s geographic market base.

Hawkins-Weir was founded in 1980 and opened an office in Little Rock in 2010. The firm Hawkins-Weir has 31 full-time employees, and there are two engineers staffing the Fayetteville office.

The company provides a broad range of engineering services, but 75 percent of its work involves design and construction management of water and wastewater projects for municipal clients.
