Carrie Underwood will bring “The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round” to Verizon Arena in North Little Rock for a one-night showing at 7 p.m. on Thursday (April 28).

The “in the round” part of the tour name comes from the design of the stage, which will be situated in the middle of the arena floor and allow for a 360-degree viewing experience from the audience.

Underwood was the fourth season winner of American Idol in 2005. She returned to perform alongside first season champion Kelly Clarkson for the series finale earlier this month. Her post-Idol career has seen a string of No. 1 hits like the Grammy Award winners “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats” and the Stephen King-inspired “Two Black Cadillacs.”

Underwood has been nominated for 191 Awards across a wide spectrum of music industry organizations, including the Academy of Country Music Awards, American Country Awards, CMT Awards, Grammy Awards, and Billboard Music Awards. Of those nominations, she has won 143.

The North American tour, promoted by AEG Live, will include special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers. Tickets are now available through Ticketmaster and range from $62 in upper and lower bowls to $93.50 for the arena floor.
