Geske joins Sparks Health as physican’s assistant

Charles Geske, a physician’s assistant, has been hired at Sparks Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery center. Geske will provide follow-up care for post-operative patients of Dr. David Miller in the hospital and in the clinic.

Geske, a Lavaca native, received a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Arkansas Tech University in 2011 and earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Harding University.

“I’ve always had a passion for the heart and a healthy body,” Geske said. “I’m happy to help patients transition into a healthier lifestyle and provide the care and support needed after cardiovascular surgery.”

His clinical rotation experiences include not only the Cardiology Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Sparks, but also local orthopedic and family practice clinics. He also briefly taught fitness classes at Marvin Altman Fitness Center. 

Sparks Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery is located at 600 Lexington Ave. in Fort Smith.
