RopeSwing Restaurant Project Renamed Preachers Son

We have been keeping an interested eye on the ongoing (albeit slow) progress of The Belfry, the new restaurant-slash-nightspot that’s being developed in a 112-year-old church a block from the square in downtown Bentonville.

Details have been difficult to pry loose, including a potential opening date, but we have learned something notable about the RopeSwing hospitality group project — the restaurant is now being called Preacher’s Son.

It is unclear what caused the name change — again, details are difficult to come by — but in any event, we now are anxiously awaiting the grand opening of Preacher’s Son.
