MedExpress Urgent Care has opened a new medical facility in Cabot on Dec. 22 and will follow that up with three more: in North Little Rock on John F. Kennedy Boulevard on Jan. 13; on Chenal Parkway on Jan. 15; and on Markham Street Jan. 20.
According to a press release from the company Jan. 5, the urgent care centers are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no appointment necessary. The centers accept most major insurance carriers.
The centers provide walk-in treatments for common illnesses and injuries as well as x-rays, labs and minor surgeries. Employers can use MedExpress for employee health services such as workers’ compensation and pre-employment screenings. The clinics also offer basic wellness and prevention services such as flu shots. All four centers will offer free sports physicals through Jan. 31.
The company has administrative offices in Morgantown, West Virginia, and Canonsburg, Penn.
It has a presence in 16 states, including Arkansas, and also has locations in Benton, Bentonville, Conway, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Hot Springs, Mountain Home, Rogers, Russellville and Springdale. Another location is coming to Pine Bluff, according to the company’s website.
