The 22nd annual Mercy Health Foundation Charity Ball was held Dec. 5 in Rogers and we hear it was a record-breaker. Approximately 1,500 people were in attendance, and the event raised a little more than $1 million.

Mercy Northwest Arkansas president Eric Pianalto reported that in the last 20 years, members of the Northwest Arkansas business and philanthropic community have raised more than $61 million in support of the $400 million Mercy has invested in the area to advance access and treatment.

Pianalto also mentioned that Mercy is planning additional financial investments in the next few years as part of the organization’s Strategy 2020 plan.

No official announcements have been made, but we hear details are coming, and they will be significant.

Stay tuned.
