The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub will host the InnovateHER Arkansas competition from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2015. Winners at the competition will get a chance to pitch at the InnovateHER finals in Washington, D.C. early next year.

The InnovateHER Challenge is a national prize competition aimed at unearthing products and services that impact and empower the lives of women and families through local business competitions that culminate in a live pitch final round. The idea is to take business ideas and early stage startups to the next level.

Contestants in the local Hub competition will also have a chance to win $1,000 in prize money.

The pitch contest is a product of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Microsoft is providing $70,000 in prizes for the national pitch competition, which will take place March 16-17.

Those interested are encouraged to register at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub website.
