The Video Wire: Marijuana, Masonic Temples, mascots and murals – oh my!

TVW anchor Dawson Meadows, who must have been stoned when he dressed himself prior to taping, airs a complaint about himself and a local attorney not being selected for a committee to find a new mascot for Southside High School.

Meadows also talks about opinions in Arkansas about medical marijuana, and the “Unexpected Project” that has brought international artists to downtown Fort Smith to paint murals.

“Eight days, seven artists, six countries and one city, right here in Fort Smith, Arkansas. If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, I invite you downtown to look at this incredible transformation taking place,” Meadows said, marking possibly one of first definitive and sincere statements he has made since launching The Video Wire.

The Video Wire is a collaboration between The City Wire and Things To Do In Fort Smith.
