Seminar to Discuss Patent, Trademark Issues

The Walton College Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is scheduled to host a professional training seminar led by local patent attorney Meredith Lowry.
Existing and potential small business owners are invited to register for the seminar, “Patent, Trademark & Copyright Issues for Business,” scheduled Oct. 6 from 1-5 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the University of Arkansas campus.
The seminar will offer advice and insight to any business looking for protection of assets such as intellectual property, business name or logo, or website. Topics include basic laws, current trends and the processes involved.
The event is co-sponsored by the law firm Wright, Lindsey and Jennings LLP. Registration cost is $40. UA staff, student and faculty discounts are available.
