The Arkansas Union on the University of Arkansas campus was named one of the 25 Most Stunning College Buildings in America by Thrillest.com.

The online media company took a slightly different take on football season by looking past tailgating and highlighted “insanely photogenic buildings, and all the special significance they hold for students, faculty, and alumni. From colonial-era throwbacks to newer mega-unions…”

At the heart of Razorback Nation is the Arkansas Union, a beloved campus gathering place that if you attend, attended, or have been anywhere near the University of Arkansas (maybe on game day, you were looking for a bathroom?), you’ve spent some time in. Packed with fun AND learning, it houses everything from academic offices and lecture space to restaurants, the Razorback Shop, and a fitness center. Can we get a “Woo Pig Sooie!?!?!”

Arkansas Union was opened in 1973 to replace the old Student Union. It houses offices and information centers for numerous on- and off-campus organizations, in addition to a student-accessible computer lab and places to eat. The Union is frequented as a meeting place for students.

Also listed in the SEC are The Lyceum at the University of Mississippi and Smith Hall at the University of Alabama. To see the full list, click here.
