The annual State of the Northwest Arkansas Region Report will be shared during a luncheon on Oct. 2 at the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors Event Center in Lowell.

The report has been released each year since 2011, by the University of Arkansas’ Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, in collaboration with the Northwest Arkansas Council.

UA economist Kathy Deck, director of the CBER, will share highlights of the report, along with information for the center’s quarterly business analysis, according to a press release.

Danny Games, deputy director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, will also speak at the event, providing a state-level perspective on economic issues and trends that are relevant to Northwest Arkansas, according to the press release.

Tickets are $40, and preregistration by Sept. 28 is required.
