Northwest Arkansas Business Journal Announces Partnership With 8th & Walton
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and Bentonville supplier development company 8th & Walton are launching a media partnership to provide enhanced coverage on retail news and information.
Starting with the current issue, 8th & Walton will contribute coverage and be an additional resource to the Business Journal in reporting news of interest from the retail and supplier industry.
The content will be available in print and online.
Rob Gutterridge, CEO and publisher of Gray Matters LLC, the Business Journal’s parent company, said the partnership is a great opportunity for Business Journal readers.
“Our partnership will provide the Business Journal readers insight on the retail community’s best practices and ideas to incorporate in their own businesses,” Gutterridge said. “The idea is to also help provide local business stories to the supplier community to help them be more aware of business dealings happening in our region. This is designed to be an additional value to our current content and I know that 8th & Walton is a great fit for this partnership.”
8th & Walton began as a supplier development firm, but has grown to also include a media business segment that is comprised of a weekly television show, a news aggregate website and a weekly newsletter, all focused on Wal-Mart Stores Inc. supplier news, industry trends and analysis.
“The retail industry is the core economic driver of business in Northwest Arkansas,” said Jeff Clapper, chairman and CEO of 8th & Walton. “At 8th & Walton, we are at the crossroads of the retailer and supplier communities, and we are excited to bring this perspective to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and its audience.”
