Dr. Rahim Khorassanizadeh, an endocrinologist, has joined Sparks Health System in Fort Smith. His clinic, Sparks Thyroid and Endocrinology, is located at 4700 N. Kelley Highway.
Board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocrinology, Khorassanizadeh (Kor-UH-san-EE) provides treatment of thyroid diseases such as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodule evaluation within clinic biopsies, thyroid cancer evaluation and management, pituitary-related illnesses, diabetes management, adrenal nodule evaluation and abnormalities in calcium regulation.
Khorassanizadeh recently finished his Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Center in Shreveport. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Ryerson University of Toronto, Ontario.
He and his wife have three young children.
