The Venture Center, located in downtown Little Rock, announced it has joined the Startup Federation, a global network of the world’s top entrepreneur centers.

The affiliation means that members of The Venture Center can now gain access to co-working space, resources, mentorship and connections to capital through other federation locations.

“In our first year, The Venture Center has established meaningful partnerships with local corporations, held two Pre-Accelerator courses, launched a systematic mentorship program, held dozens of programs which supported the creation of 53 jobs, 41 active startups and $1.5 Million of investment capital in our member companies. We are thrilled to continue this growth with an invitation to join Startup Federation and provide our members with access to a global network of the top incubator programs.” Lee Watson, President & CEO of The Venture Center.

The Startup Federation is based on the premise that collaboration among startup ecosystems and among startups is a net benefit for the global economy and for innovation.

The Venture Center is one of the main organizations positioning itself as a “front door” for entrepreneurship in Central Arkansas. To learn more about The Venture Center, visit VentureCenter.co.
