CHI St. Vincent has been in an expansion mode of late.

Petit Jean Home Care in Morrilton, Ark. and Visiting Nurse Association of Arkansas in Little Rock, Ark. are now part of CHI St. Vincent Health at Home. In November 2014, the CHI St. Vincent Health at Home brand was launched with the opening of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs.

The health care system said the alignment of home health services will allow for greater coordination of home care services across its entire healthcare system.

“We are excited to align with our local partner, CHI St. Vincent, as we continue to build healthy communities, offer the full continuum of care to every patient we serve and provide care the way a loving family member would,” said Dan Dietz, President and CEO of CHI Health at Home.

Also in recent weeks, CHI St. Vincent West has expanded.

The newly opened Pavilion 2 is home to new 3D mammography at the CHI St. Vincent Breast Center as well as a state of the art imaging center with MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X- ray.

Pavilion 2 will also be home to the Family Dentistry practice of Michael Pohlcamp, D.D.S. and the Cornerstone Pharmacy. Radiology Associates, P.A., a CHI St. Vincent partner, operates the breast center at the new location.

“With 3D mammography, patients receive improved breast cancer screening, detection of small cancers and superior image quality with no increased radiation dose. The technology helps distinguish harmless abnormalities from real cancers, leading to fewer callbacks and less anxiety for women. 3-D imaging unmasks cancers that can otherwise be missed,” said Chad Aduddell, President & CEO CHI St. Vincent.

Pavilion 1 at CHI St. Vincent West, which opened November 2011, is home to the CHI St. Vincent Sleep Center, Longevity Center and primary care & urgent care clinics.

“Our West Campus, answers the call to meet the ambulatory health needs currently not present within this fast growing segment of Little Rock. We are committed to increasing our investment in wellness and prevention that is readily accessible to those we serve,” Aduddell said.

UPDATE: CHI St. Vincent also announced Monday that it has assumed ownership of the Conway Interfaith Clinic. The clinic is now CHI St. Vincent Interfaith Clinic.

The transfer was completed July 6, 2015.

“We’re grateful to be a part of CHI St. Vincent. Their legacy is one of caring for the same people we’ve been helping since 2003 – the poor and vulnerable. We’re confident that CHI St. Vincent is just as committed as we are to providing high quality healthcare to our current and future patients,” said Thea Spatz, Chairperson of the Conway Interfaith Clinic Board of Directors who will be serving on the CHI St. Vincent Interfaith Clinic Advisory Board going forward.

The Conway clinic has experienced a steady decline in the number of patients who need free healthcare.

“The Affordable Care Act now provides health insurance to the previously uninsured who once received free care at the clinic,” said David Foster, President CHI St. Vincent Medical Group. Services will still be available to those who now have Medicare, Medicaid, other health insurance or no health insurance.”

“As healthcare continues to evolve, we must be willing to change as well to ensure the health of Arkansans. Adding a fifth community clinic is an exciting opportunity for us. A similar CHI St. Vincent clinic for the medically underserved opened nearly 45 years ago, and is still providing care in the original location. Four others are in Little Rock and North Little Rock. We’re committed to increasing our investment in wellness and prevention as we continue the legacy of our founding Sisters to create healthy communities,” said Patrick McCruden, Vice President Mission Integration CHI St. Vincent.

Medicaid and Medicare patients will begin receiving care at the clinic August 3 when CHI St. Vincent Conway Interfaith Clinic obtains authorization from the Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services (CMS). The dental program accepts ARKids and Medicaid for children and adults. Current employees became CHI St. Vincent co-workers July 6, 2015.
