The Shiloh Museum will celebrate the completion of a new permanent exhibit, "Settling the Ozarks," with a reception Thursday, April 30, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The exhibit focuses on the time period 1820 to 1860 and highlights the many skills needed by pioneers making a new home in Northwest Arkansas.

The reception will feature fiddle music by Arkansas state champion fiddler Will Bush and pioneer-era refreshments of ham, cornbread, and apple cider.

The Shiloh Museum is located at 118 W. Johnson in downtown Springdale. For more information, call 750-8165 or visit shilohmuseum.org
