Saatchi X Communications VP Moves to 8th & Walton

Saatchi & Saatchi X vice president of global communications Betsy Reithemeyer has left the Springdale company for a similar role with Bentonville-based supplier development firm 8th & Walton.
Reithemeyer said she will start her new job as senior vice president of media and communications on May 4.
Reithemeyer started her retailing career in 1976 with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and was the company’s vice president of corporate affairs until 2006. She joined Saatchi & Saatchi X four years ago.
In an email to Whispers, Reithemeyer said she thoroughly enjoyed her time at Saatchi X, but this opportunity is a better fit for her talents and interests.
