Fayetteville Firm Beck Haus Acquired By Weichert, Realtors The Griffin Co.

Springdale-based real estate firm Weichert, Realtors — The Griffin Co. announced Jan. 22 it has purchased Beck Haus Realtors, which has its office in Fayetteville and is owned by Leigh Anne Beck.

The purchase will give Weichert, led by principals Gary Griffin, Phil Taldo, Brandon Long and Carter Clark, a third office to go with its locations in Springdale and Bentonville.

The Beck Haus office in Signature Plaza at the intersection of Crossover and Joyce will become Weichert’s Fayetteville office, which Long said will help the company better serve its clients in Washington County.

The acquisition is effective Feb. 1.

Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. The deal will result in Weichert assuming about 30 Beck Haus listings, as well as 15 agents.

Weichert now has approximately 145 agents among its three offices in Northwest Arkansas, Long said.

Beck started her company in late 2011, ended 2012 with $6.18 million in total volume and surged to more than $16 million in total volume in 2013.

She said her agents will begin an open-ended transition period to the Weichert brand and will be operating as the Beck Haus Team.

Beck will be the managing executive broker for the Fayetteville office, Long said.

Weichert ranked No. 4 on the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s list last year of Largest Real Estate Firms with a total volume of $202.6 million in 2013.
